CONCIERGE (kôN-syârzh’) – WHAT IS IT?
Most people can’t pronounce it, much less define it.
Loosely defined, a concierge is someone who can attend to the little
and big details in life for people who don’t have the time to attend to those details themselves.
Actual list of tasks completed for a customer
while they were away on vacation:
- Purchased and put away groceries
- Purchased miscellaneous household items
- Dry cleaning dropped off, picked up and put away
- Compiled tax items for accountant
- Co-ordinated and supervised carpet cleaning
